Kansas City Life Announces Resignation of Senior Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Director Tracy W. Knapp
KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kansas City Life Insurance Company (the "Company") announced today that Tracy W. Knapp, Senior Vice President, Finance and a member of the Board of Directors, has notified the Chairman of his intent to leave the Company and resign from the Board following the end of the Annual Meeting of Shareholders on April 20, 2017.
Mr. Knapp joined Kansas City Life in 1998 with the responsibility of developing a banking subsidiary. He was elected President and CEO of Generations Bank when it was chartered in July 2000 and served in that capacity until its sale in 2006. Mr. Knapp became Senior Vice President, Finance, and the Chief Financial Officer of Kansas City Life in 2002. He was elected to the Board of Directors that same year and has served on the Executive Committee.
