Kamal R. Woods is recognized by Continental Who's Who

MURRIETTA, Calif., Jan. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kamal R. Woods, MD, FAANS, is recognized by Continental Who's Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Healthcare. Dr. Woods is a board-certified Neurosurgeon and minimally invasive spine surgeon.

As of November 2016, Dr. Woods is currently a Physician Leader of Neuroscience at Kettering Health Network.

A graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Dr. Woods pursued Neurosurgery training at Loma Linda. He also completed an enfolded fellowship in Complex Spine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. During that time, Dr. Woods learned from world-renowned Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery spine surgery mentors.

Dr. Woods has a singular interest in reformative healthcare. He is deeply driven to help redefine the accepted norms for the way in which healthcare is delivered. His philosophy of care is patient-centered. He says that, "Patients deserve more! (LLUMC-M) He has received a number of awards for his commitment to excellence and for the high level of care he has rendered to thousands of patients. Dr. Woods was recently recognized as one of "America's Most Honored Professionals" in healthcare. He was also voted as a "Top 10" Neurosurgeon in his region.

Inducted into the Expert Distinguished Doctors Network, Dr. Woods is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and North American Spine Society (NASS).

He is an avid golfer and also enjoys traveling with his beautiful wife, Loredana, and their two children.
