Kal Penn and Mira Nair Join Tasveer's Celebration of 20 years of Service!

SEATTLE, March 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Kal Penn will join as a keynote speaker at Tasveer's 5th Annual Gala on March 19, 2022 to celebrate two decades of championing social change in the South Asian Community through films, literature and storytelling. Celebrities, comedians, government leaders, and influencers galore will join this fast paced, glamorous and entertaining evening, hosted virtually and attended by supporters across the US. Sonal Aggarwal is the emcee and will perform a comedy set at the gala!

Tasveer Virtual Gala begins at 6 PM PST on March 19th, 2022.

In his book, Penn shares his experiences about facing racism in Hollywood, his coming out story, and working in the Obama administration as an Associate Director of Public Engagement at the White House.
