K12 Insight Launches New Professional Learning Workshops That Help Schools Improve the Customer Experience
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) Midwinter Conference kicks off this month, school leaders across the state will get their first look at an emerging professional learning program focused on helping teachers and staff improve the customer experience.
Created by a team of researchers and former administrators and classroom educators, K12 Insight's Customer Experience Workshops are designed to help school leaders make measurable improvements to school culture and climate — with a focus on the customer experience. To date, more than 2,500 school leaders have been trained nationwide. As the program gains momentum in Texas, K12 Insight is offering TASA attendees an exclusive opportunity to win a free workshop for teachers and staff. To enter, visit booth #832 at TASA Midwinter in Austin, Jan. 27-30.
"At El Paso ISD, we made a strategic commitment to provide better customer experiences for students and their families," said Juan Cabrera, superintendent of El Paso ISD in Texas. "That work starts up front, with empowering teachers and staff. K12 Insight's Customer Experience Workshops gave our team the experience, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed — in any situation."
With two options — one for all front-line staff and one for administrators focused on culture and change management — each K12 Insight Customer Experience Workshop features research-backed role play and real-world learning to help school leaders listen to, understand and respond to their school communities. Plus, each professional who completes the course receives a certificate for validation.
"When adults are engaged, they pay attention, they're motivated, they learn more, and the learning sticks," said Dr. Christine Wells, director of research for K12 Insight, and lead trainer. "These are not your typical 'sit and get' professional development programs. When teachers and staff take a K12 Insight workshop, they are encouraged to move around the room, collaborate to solve problems, and make exceptional customer experience part of their cultural DNA. Our trainers have been there, they care, and they know what they are talking about!"
If you're attending the TASA Midwinter Conference in Austin Jan. 27-30, stop by booth #832 to take K12 Insight's interactive quiz and assess the state of your school district's customer experience for a chance to win a free workshop for you and your team.
