SAN ANTONIO, June 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The lakes are full, the wildflowers are spectacular, and the countdown to another season has begun. There is a buzz in the air as JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa counts down the days until summer arrives.

Renowned for its extensive list of creative guest experiences, the San Antonio resort has a few new activities planned for 2015 to continuously deliver fun-filled adventures for the entire family.

Summer Experience Activities planned for 2015 at one of the premier San Antonio resorts include:

The Making of a Movie Star – Children with a dramatic flair will love this award-winning evening as they make costumes and produce a stellar performance for all parents while leaving with a special keepsake. 

Rock, Paper, Scissors Lounge – This dynamic teen-themed night is a roving adventure away from parents and includes casino games, loud music and snacks.

Morning Extreme Swim – Guests are invited to jump in the resort's 1,100-foot-long lazy river to wake up their normal swim workout. This exhilarating experience takes place before the resort pools open for the day.

Yogi Bugs – Fun and Zen intersect at this interactive yoga experience for young children. The class combines dynamic movements, posture and breathing exercises in a relaxed environment.

Returning this summer season will be the resort's Kids' Night Out, a special evening presented by the Range Riders Club and formulated for guests ages 4 to 12. Offered nightly from 6 to 10 p.m., different themed celebrations are planned that include crafts, games and movies so kids can have fun while parents enjoy some alone time. The night includes dinner for the children, interactive play activities and a keepsake. Parents are free to spend the evening dining in one of the San Antonio resort's restaurants, relaxing in the whirlpool or adult pool looking out over unobstructed Hill Country vistas or indulging in a spa treatment at Lantana Spa. Cost is $65 per child nightly.  

The resort also has crafted a special package to help vacationers kick off the summer fun when they stay two or more nights. The $100 Resort Credit Package includes rooms from $369 to $459 per night plus a $100 nightly resort credit to use toward a spa treatment, dining and more. The offer is valid through Dec. 31, 2015
