JW Marriott Chicago Brings the Nutcracker to Life with Exciting Offer

CHICAGO, Nov. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The whimsical winter experience returns to the Windy City as JW Marriott Chicago joins its official partner, the acclaimed Joffrey Ballet, to ignite holiday cheer across Chicago for the third year. The spirit of the season comes to life through the "A Night at the Nutcracker" package* available Friday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 28 with rates starting at $429 per night. The package includes:

• Hot chocolate nightcap in-room (spiked hot chocolate for adults also available) and ballerina-shaped cookies
• Breakfast for two in-room the next day 
• Two VIP tickets to the Nutcracker Ballet at the Joffrey Ballet (additional tickets available for purchase upon request for $15 savings)
• A "swag bag" filled with ballet-related surprises

To kick off the official package partnership, JW Marriott Chicago will host a Ballerina Hot Chocolate Happy Hour on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. featuring free hot chocolate and cider in the hotel's Lobby Lounge while guests mingle with ballerinas from the show. Throughout the package partnership, the JW Marriott Chicago's Lobby Lounge will also offer a signature drink, The Dancer's Delight, for $10.

The Joffrey Ballet also adds a unique opportunity for guests to take a peek behind the curtain with a special ballerina meet-and-greet after the Saturday matinee show on Dec. 6.
