Justin Etheridge Named Executive Vice President of Time Out North America
NEW YORK, March 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Out Group appoints Justin Etheridge as Executive Vice President of Time Out North America.
Etheridge, a Time Out veteran, has been with the brand for more than 13 years. He joins Time Out North America from his role as co-founder and Group Publisher of Time Out Australia. Prior, he served as publisher of Time Out Dubai for four years where he took the publication from a single-city print product to one of the region's most successful multi-platform media brands.
In his new role, he will report to Group CEO Tim Arthur. Etheridge will oversee the brand's continued audience and commercial growth across all platforms in North America.
"As Time Out continues to expand digitally across the U.S., with our digital audience up 60% year-on-year, Justin will be a key player in Time Out's continuing global growth," said Arthur. "I've worked with Justin for several years, and I know that his inspirational leadership, entrepreneurial skills and in-depth knowledge of Time Out will make the North American business a huge commercial success, building on the incredible editorial achievements we're currently experiencing."
Etheridge commented, "I am excited to remain with Time Out in the brand's next stage of evolution as we translate our unique content and phenomenal audience growth into further commercial success. My experience of driving profitable cross-platform media brands, in multiple markets, means I'll be able to lead the talented senior team in place to create more value for our audience, advertisers and strategic brand partners."
