DALLAS, Aug. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Just Brakes Total Car Care, a Dallas based automotive maintenance and repair company, supported the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation with a donation of $13,250. Sarah Hamp, Vice President of Marketing, and Tom Balash, Vice President of Sales, met with Demetrick Pennie, Dallas Police Department Sergeant and President of the Fallen Officer Foundation, and Armando Tijerina, Dallas Marshal and Director of the Fallen Officer Foundation, at their shop on Lemmon Avenue. The donation is intended to benefit the families of last month's tragedy, when the Dallas Police Department and DART Police Department lost five officers.
"Like others in our community, we were deeply saddened by the tragic events that took place last month. As proud members of this great community, our company was moved to do something for the families of the fallen officers," said Bill Ihnken, CEO of Just Brakes Total Car Care. "We were proud to partner with several of our vendors, including NAPA, JS Products, Hunter Engineering, Pennzoil, G&K, and Ed Jones, to put together a donation to benefit the families. It's truly a small gesture when compared to the sacrifice these officers made, but our hope is that it helps make things a little easier for the families. We would also like to express our gratitude to the entire Dallas Police Department for their service and all that they do."
