Junxure Expands Executive Ranks
Financial Services and Technology Veteran, Bill Banks, Joins Fast Growing Advisor Technology Firm; Junxure Operations Executive, John Shangler, Elevated to EVP
RALEIGH, N.C., April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Junxure, an industry leading CRM solutions provider and practice improvement firm for financial advisors, today announced that Bill Banks, an experienced financial services and technology executive has joined the firm as Executive Vice President. In this new executive role, Banks will be responsible for over-seeing Sales, Marketing, Communications, Consulting and Training, Finance and Administration.
Also announced today is the elevation of senior Junxure operations leader, John Shangler, to Executive Vice President. In this new role, Shangler will be responsible for Development, Product Management, Technical Support, and IT. Both Banks and Shangler will report to CEO Greg Friedman and serve, along with Friedman, as the firm's Strategy Committee.

Banks has over 20 years of senior management experience across a range of financial services, technology, and information services firms. Before joining Junxure, Banks was Managing Director at Harvest Capital Strategies, a $1.3B alternative asset management firm in San Francisco. Prior to Harvest, Bill was President of MCF Wealth Management, responsible for the acquisition and management of independent investment advisory firms.
Banks' previous experience also includes several years as Senior Vice President for Advisor Software (ASI) where he led their marketing, product management and sales efforts. Bill was also founder and general manager of the U.S. subsidiary for Update Software AG, a leading European provider of enterprise CRM solutions. Banks is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Shangler has over 30 years experience in a variety of senior technology roles, most recently VP of operations for Junxure. Prior to joining Junxure five years ago, Shangler was CEO and President of Reasoning, LLC. a software analytics company. Before Reasoning, Shangler held senior roles at several technology firms. Shangler is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and the Advanced Management College at Stanford University Executive Education.
