The cohesive, business-proven trio arrive at JumpCloud to further disrupt the directory services space after working extensively together at SolidFire, a Boulder-based storage startup acquired by NetApp. Dan, Dave, and Jim concentrate several decades of outstanding executive and senior management experience towards advancing JumpCloud's mission of reinventing directory services in the cloud. Dan's sought-after product and strategy expertise complements Dave's design, architecture, and development prowess, while Jim follows suit with globally renowned customer-facing teams.
Dan, Dave, and Jim join an impressive team of veteran leaders with a deep track record of success in software startups including founders Rajat Bhargava and Larry Middle; Chief Product Officer, Greg Keller; and, Chief Revenue Officer, Patrick Cameron.

- Dan previously held the positions of Vice President and General Manager of the SolidFire Business Unit at NetApp, and Chief Product Officer at SolidFire. Dan was also previously CTO of Skype and a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems. Dan will be leading the strategic development for the full range of products and technologies on the JumpCloud platform, while also growing and maintaining the research and development team.
- Dave previously held the position of Vice President Engineering for SolidFire. Dave was previously running engineering organizations at Nirvanix and LeftHand Networks, among others. Dave will be driving the architecture, design, and development of JumpCloud products as well as the ongoing technical operations. Dave is also responsible for scaling the capabilities of the engineering team, including hiring an additional 50+ engineers.
- Jim previously held the position of Senior Director of Support at NetApp, and Director of Service and Support at SolidFire. Jim was previously running support organizations at Scale Computing and LeftHand Networks. Jim will ensure requisite processes and resources are available to customers and partners so they are successful in their deployment, adoption, expansion, and utilization of JumpCloud's products.
