July Pennsylvania Table Games Revenue Increased Nearly 4%
Overall gaming revenue slightly down
HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- According to figures released and posted today on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board's web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, July 2017 table games revenue of $77,855,434 was an increase of approximately 3.8% over July of last year when revenue was $75,027,628.
Total tax revenue from table games play during July was $12,497,186* with an average of 1,241 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.
Gross table games revenue at each of the casinos for July 2017 and July 2016 is as follows:

When that amount is combined with the earlier reported July slot machine revenue, total gaming revenue was down by less than $1.5 million, or 0.5% compared to July of last year. Those totals are as follows:

About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board:
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is tasked to oversee all aspects of the state's casino industry. There are 10 stand-alone and racetrack casinos in operation, along with the two smaller resort casinos. These facilities collectively employ 18,000 people and annually generate approximately $1.4 billion in tax revenue from slot machine and table games play.
