Julia De Jesus to lead Sabre Mexico
Executive formally takes on country management as company marks 20 years as leading technology provider for the Mexican travel industry
MEXICO CITY, Oct. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Global technology company Sabre (www.sabre.com) announced today that Julia De Jesús will manage its operations in Mexico, in addition to her existing role as VP Northern Latin America. Mexico will now become a regional headquarter in the north of the region, further expanding the delivery of software solutions and technology consultancy for the travel and tourism industry also in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Central America and the Caribbean.

Effective immediately, De Jesús is charged with strengthening the company's strategic participation in a flagship market as part of its international footprint and relationship with global industry providers, airlines, hotels and travel buyers, including agencies and corporations in Mexico and throughout the region.
De Jesús' objective is to further increase Sabre's renowned customer support and service for business in travel, while her management team continues to drive adoption of new technologies in mobile and social, and trends in personalization and data impacting industry wide.

De Jesús follows Gary Stone, who has been appointed as General Director for Sabre Airline Solutions. With more than 25 years of travel transportation industry experience, Stone will continue managing technology implementations and consultancy for airlines in Mexico, North Latin America and the Caribbean.
Julia De Jesús becomes part of legacy of successful senior executives who laid the foundation for Sabre's operations in Mexico. Previous leaders include Tom Klein, recently appointed CEO of Sabre Holdings, and senior VP Jay Jones. At a national level, former secretary of tourism Gloria Guevara Manzo led Sabre in Mexico prior her appointment in the public sector.
