BATON ROUGE, La., Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Judy M. Smart is recognized by Continental Who's Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Transportation. Judy is the President of Roadrunner Towing and Recovery.
Founded in 1969 by Judy's late husband, James, Roadrunner Towing and Recovery began with just the use of one truck. Fast forward to present day, Roadrunner has grown to expand into a successful fleet of fifteen trucks.
Since James' death in 2001, Judy took over the business and it has continued to prosper. In this capacity, her areas of concentration include business administration and development as well as financial aspects of to the business and the oversight of day to day operations. A testament to her success as sole owner of the business, Judy and her team have recently opened a second location.
Moreover, Judy is a member of the Louisiana Motor Transport Association and the National Association of Professional Women where she was recognized as a VIP Woman of the Year. In 2000, Judy was the first female recipient of the Davidge award and she continues to give back to her community.
