Judge To Conduct Hearing on Final Approval Of Johns Hopkins $190 Million Class Action Settlement Tomorrow at 3 pm EST, says Janet, Jenner & Suggs, LLC
More Than 8,500 Women Wait To Hear
BALTIMORE, Md., Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- At 3 pm EST Friday, September 19, a hearing will be held at the Baltimore City Circuit Court on the final approval of a $190 million class action settlement between Johns Hopkins Hospital and the approximately 8,500 plaintiffs involved in this class action lawsuit.
The women were patients of Johns Hopkins' gynecologist Dr. Nikita Levy, who allegedly took secret photographs and videos of his patients during exams and other procedures, and who also allegedly committed sexual boundary violations during treatment of his patients. The proposed settlement recognizes the value of women's rights in our community, state and nation.
