JPS Industries, Inc. Names John Ehmann President Stevens Urethane Division

GREENVILLE, S.C., May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JPS Industries, Inc. (JPST.PK) announced that John Ehmann has been promoted to President of the Stevens Urethane Division, effective May 1, 2013.  He will be headquartered at the Stevens Urethane plant located in Easthampton, Massachusetts.  Mr. Ehmann succeeds Chuck Tutterow who also serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of JPS Industries, Inc., the parent company of Stevens Urethane.

Mr. Ehmann has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He holds Lean Six Sigma, Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certifications. 

Mr. Ehmann has extensive experience and background in manufacturing operations, general management, sales, marketing and commercial development.  Prior to joining Stevens as the Executive Vice President of Operations and New Business Development, Mr. Ehmann served as the Director of Operations for Vigon International, a manufacturer of flavor and fragrance compounds.  Prior to this, John served as General Manager for Aramark Services Cleanroom operations where he had full P&L responsibility for Aramark's largest cleanroom services business and earned Market Center of the Year honors in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and General Manager of the year awards in 2009 and 2010.  He has general management and operations experience with General Chemical, leading the manufacturing, distribution, logistics and capital planning functions for a $250 million chemicals operation.  John also worked for Cytec Industries, a multi-billion global chemical and materials company, directly responsible for leading the Specialty Fibers' business unit's commercial and new product development activities where his efforts earned him the Cytec Circle of Excellence President's award in 1994.
