JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Jamie Dimon to be Honored as The Executives' Club of Chicago's 2010 International Executive of the Year
CHICAGO, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Executives' Club of Chicago is pleased to announce Jamie Dimon, Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the recipient of its sixteenth annual International Executive of the Year Award for his outstanding contributions to the global business community.
Dimon currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Prior to being named to his current positions, he served as President & Chief Operating Officer. In his capacity as Chairman and CEO, Dimon plays a leading role in the management of $2 trillion in assets and operations in more than 60 countries. Under Dimon's leadership, the firm has become an industry leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers, small business and commercial banking, financial transaction processing, asset management and private equity.
In addition to Dimon's duties at JPMorgan Chase & Co. he serves on the board of directors of multiple non-profits, including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Clearing House, the United Negro College Fund and Harvard Business School. Dimon also serves on the Executive Committee of the Business Council, Business Roundtable and the Partnership for New Your City and is a member of Financial Services Forum, Financial Services Roundtable and Council on Foreign Relations.

The annual International Executive of the Year Award was established by The Executives' Club of Chicago's Board of Directors in 1995 to honor individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the global business community. Mr. Dimon will accept the award in front of over 1,400 guests during the Club's Global Leaders Luncheon program on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
