JotForm and Asana Form Partnership to Accelerate Path Between Data Collection, Insights and Monetization
New Integration Deal Enables Asana Customers to Turn JotForm Online Data Collection Into Actionable Work
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- JotForm, the fastest and easiest way to build online forms that deliver business value, today announced a partnership and product integration with Asana, the popular work-tracking app for teams.
Asana makes it easier for teams to track their work with greater clarity, accountability and efficiency. Now with JotForm, Asana customers can integrate information collected from a JotForm form with customer data, and all data submissions will be automatically converted into actionable steps within the Asana application.
While Asana improves the efficiency of teams at work, customers still needed a seamless way to collect outside information and automatically generate actions informed by customer requests. JotForm recognized this need and initiated the integration deal after noticing spikes in web traffic referrals from Asana, and that the company's forms were consistently shared inside Asana by mutual customers.
"We approached Asana because together, we can save users tremendous amounts of time and effort," said Aytekin Tank, CEO of JotForm. "Asana provides incredible value to their customers and JotForm brings intelligence to the data-collection process. Together, we're accelerating the time to value by instantly turning the data collected into actionable work on the Asana platform."
One example is payment tracking. JotForm captures payment-tracking information, which is extremely valuable for Asana customers. The JotForm integration offers this feature, along with inherent bank-level security, and populates payment details within Asana. Now, customers can submit payment through a JotForm order form and Asana will automatically create tasks for the company's backend to complete and process the order.
JotForm's complementary solution immediately eliminated the need for Asana users to manually and tediously populate customer data and actions required within their teams' workflows. Asana customers experience the benefits of the information collected via JotForm without managing multiple software systems, accessing JotForm data directly within their Asana application. With this integration, JotForm data submissions are turned into actionable work in Asana. For example, if a JotForm is used to collect job applications, those submissions can then be translated into automated next steps for recruiting teams and hiring managers, saving time and boosting productivity.
"Business teams suffer from too much work about work," said Sharrifah Al-Salem, business development at Asana. "With JotForm, customers now have an easy way to collect the data they need to formulate strategic workflows and in many cases, monetize customer inquiries, right inside Asana."
The JotForm-Asana integration is now available. Customers can get started by creating a JotForm account, and configure by selecting Asana in the integrations portal.
