Jostens Relaunches ReplayIt® Mobile App for Yearbooks
New Photo and Video Sharing Options Enhance Yearbook Programs
MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jostens has relaunched ReplayIt, the company's mobile photo storage and sharing service for yearbook creation. ReplayIt is now available with multiple photo upload options, video content sharing and a way for consumers to purchase their yearbook directly from the app.
Yearbook advisers and staffs help school communities tell their unique stories each year. ReplayIt provides students with engaging, state of the art and industry first tools to contribute to their school yearbook by submitting photos using their mobile and tablet devices. Yearbook advisers can also utilize ReplayIt to upload videos for video sharing with students. The new video content sharing options allows advisers and students to use HP Aurasma's augmented reality (AR) platform to make yearbooks more digitally interactive. When users launch the AR feature within the ReplayIt app and scan over AR-enhanced images, Aurasma's technology enables the smart device to match photos with relevant video content allowing students to truly "relive" special moments.
"We are excited to re-introduce an easy-to-use and feature-rich ReplayIt to help students and schools capture images to share with classmates, and to curate the best memories and the moments that matter," said Murad Velani, chief operating officer, Jostens. "With an adoption rate that is nearly doubling year over year, ReplayIt is fast becoming the premier photo and video capture and sharing mobile platform for schools and students. We currently have 6,700 schools using ReplayIt, with over 280,000 app downloads and nearly 3 million photo images uploaded. Our strategy is to continue building new features and capabilities on our ReplayIt platform to meet the growing demand of schools and students."
"ReplayIt provides an easy way for our students and faculty to take photos on our iPhones and iPads and upload them instantly," said Kori Braun, counselor and yearbook advisor, Victoria High School. "We all lead such busy lifestyles and ReplayIt makes it handy to take photos and share them with our faculty and students. The new video uploading and sharing capabilities provide another easy way to capture and share information and events with others in the school community."
ReplayIt may be downloaded for android and IOS devices via http://www.replayit.com.
