"The numbers we've seen over the holiday shopping weekend prove that consumers value the opportunity to escape the chaos of shopping brick and mortar stores, and instead find exactly what they're looking for from the convenience of their home—all while receiving the savings they want," said Paul Toms, general manager for Joss & Main. "Overall, mobile sales continue to be a growing success driver for us, and we're proud to offer our members a robust and user-friendly shopping experience through this channel."
A breakdown of the mobile category shows that 17 percent of shoppers purchased from their phones and 25 percent purchased from their tablets this year. Shoppers also had the opportunity to browse celebrity curated collections featuring items hand-selected by Nicole Richie and Padma Lakshmi. Top selling items from the holiday shopping weekend included a crystal buffet server, mini chandelier, bamboo cheese board set, and cookware set.
