Josh Lodolo Selected as New President and CEO of the Educational Foundation of Lambda Chi Alpha
INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- After an extensive search process, the Board of Directors of the Educational Foundation of Lambda Chi Alpha has selected Josh Lodolo as the new president and CEO.
Lodolo, who currently serves as the director of development and alumni relations for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin, will relocate to Indianapolis and begin his new role on Sept. 14. He will replace current Educational Foundation President and CEO Mark Bauer, who will be transitioning into a new joint role, previously announced in June, with the foundation and fraternity as executive for alumni outreach.
At the University of Texas, Lodolo saw donor renewals, leadership giving, and unrestricted giving all make double-digit percentage increases. In 2013, his efforts helped set a college fundraising record of $28.4 million. He has established and built hundreds of new relationships during his tenure, and personally secured millions of dollars of financial support.
"Josh has a proven track record of successful fundraising and alumni relations in higher education," said Karl Krapek, Board Chairman, Educational Foundation of Lambda Chi Alpha. "He impressed the Search Committee with his passion, vision and ideas to continue to grow our annual fund and future endowment. Additionally, the Board would like to thank Mark Bauer for the tireless work he has done over the last decade, especially in regard to the successful completion of an unprecedented five-year, $20 million future leaders campaign."
In his new position, Lodolo will focus on cultivating alumni to help achieve the foundation's vision to fund, develop and support values-based educational programs and activities that will inspire a lifetime of personal growth, leadership, service, and deep fraternal relationships.
"I've known Josh for many years and I'm very confident he can continue to build on the amazing groundwork laid by Mark Bauer and his team," said Bill Farkas, chief executive officer of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. "Long-term, our fraternity must have a strong and successful fundraising partner and I believe Josh and I will work well together to help secure our fraternity's future and vision of being the pre-eminent fraternity experience."
Lodolo earned a bachelor of business administration degree from the California State University, Northridge and a master of business administration from Anderson University in Indiana. At Cal State-Northridge, Lodolo joined Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity as a founding member of the re-colonized Beta-Rho chapter. He served the colony as treasurer for one year and recruitment chairman for two years. After graduation, he worked for Lambda Chi Alpha as an educational leadership consultant, where he helped establish seven colonies and consulted with dozens of chapters. He then worked in various alumni relations and development roles for the educational foundation.
Since leaving the Lambda Chi Alpha staff in 2009, Lodolo has worked in development and alumni relations at the University of Texas. He also has served as a volunteer on the Alpha-Mu chapter Alumni Advisory Board at the University of Texas. This chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha recently won the Chairman's Award as one of the best performing chapters in North America.
