Babb, MD, FACC, FAHA, FSCAI is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Lifetime Achiever in Medicine in the field of Cardiology in recognition of his role as Professor of Medicine and Cardiologist at East Carolina University and Brody School of Medicine.

Serving in the United States Army for two years, the first serving in the medical corps in Vietnam and then at Walter Reed Hospital, Dr. Babb served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Pennsylvania State University Hershey Medical
Center, where he also worked for ten years as a cardiologist. Throughout his career, Dr. Babb has attained extensive expertise in the areas of interventional cardiology. A prominent professional within the field, Dr. Babb strives to improve the health and wellness of those he encounters.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Babb performed the first coronary angioplasty in the state of Connecticut.
An illustrious author of several publications, Dr. Babb attained his Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins University. Thereafter, Dr. Babb would then go on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Cardiology fellowship soon to follow.
In an effort to further advance his professional career, Dr. Babb is an esteemed member of several elite organizations including being a current Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Fellow of the American Heart Association. Dr. Babb is also a Master of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
