NEW YORK, May 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Joseph Abboud is proud to announce the launch of his eponymous fragrance, available exclusively at Men's Wearhouse and Joseph Abboud stores and online at www.menswearhouse.com and www.josephabboud.com. This marks Joseph Abboud's first foray into the men's grooming category under the The Men's Wearhouse, Inc. umbrella.
To create this fragrance, Abboud worked closely with Tru Fragrance and Harry Fremont, Master Perfumer of Firmenich. Harry Fremont found great inspiration for this fragrance from Abboud's design studio. "The fabrics in the Joseph Abboud line are very special. I wanted to replicate the color, style and comfort of them by using soft musk's and woods in the back of the fragrance and fresh citrus notes at the top. Men will feel confident wearing this fragrance, just like the confidence they feel in Joseph's designs," says Harry Fremont.
Signature Abboud cues can be found throughout the design of the fragrance including the mix of herringbone and plaid patterns on the packaging, the masculine shape of the bottle and the custom gray embossed cap.
The fragrance itself combines an invigorating blend of fresh citrus with accents of spice and herbs for a unique woody aroma, embodying the passion and confidence of the modern American man. Opening with a blend of citrus and bamboo, the fragrance delves into a heart of lavender, geranium and sage and closes with guaiac woods, moss and clean captive musk's. Joseph Abboud is a luxurious and artfully masculine fragrance emblematic of the brand and the man who wears it.

The Joseph Abboud's signature fragrance will be available in 3.4oz and 1.7oz bottles exclusively at Men's Wearhouse locations and the Joseph Abboud flagship store, located at 424 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. The 3.4oz fragrance will retail for $65 and the 1.7oz will retail for $50.
About Joseph Abboud
Since the age of sixteen, Joseph Abboud has been passionate about fashion. He started his career in menswear at Louis of Boston and later Polo Ralph Lauren. In 1987, Joseph Abboud launched his own eponymous label.
