Joseph A. Berquist Named Vice President/Managing Director for Quaker Chemical North America

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Joseph A. Berquist has been promoted to Vice President/Managing Director of Quaker Chemical's North American operations. Previously, he was Senior Director – Commercial, Quaker North America.

Mr. Berquist moves into his new position with over 13 years of experience with Quaker, resulting in a strategic background and direct experience in Quaker's Steel, Metalworking and Fluid Power businesses. He joined Quaker North America in 1997 as a Technical Service Specialist, quickly moving into product management and sales management positions. In 2007 he was named Industry Business Director – Metalworking/Fluid Power, and in late 2008 became Senior Director – Commercial, Quaker North America.

Prior to joining Quaker, Mr. Berquist held a technical manager position at AK Steel in Middletown, OH. He holds a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

Mr. Berquist lives in Twinsburg, OH, with his wife (Ann) and 2 children. He will continue to have in office at Quaker's global headquarters building in Conshohocken, PA.
