Jones Lang LaSalle Announces Leadership Changes in the West
Jan Pope to lead Corporate Solutions in the West; Peter Belisle to head Southwest Region
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the appointment of Peter Belisle as Market Director charged with overseeing the firm's business across the Southwest region, which includes Las Vegas, the Los Angeles area, Orange County, Phoenix, and San Diego. Jan Pope has been named the head of Corporate Solutions' West Region. Both Pope and Belisle, who have held numerous leadership roles at the firm, will assume their respective positions immediately.

As the head of Corporate Solutions' West Region, Pope will be responsible for continuing to deliver the value-added integrated real estate services that corporate clients need to further their business. She will also be responsible for creating stronger partnerships between the firm's Markets organization and its Corporate Solutions clients to ensure that they are benefitting from the entire Jones Lang LaSalle platform. As the Southwest Market Director since 2008, she was instrumental in driving growth and expanding business lines. With her oversight, the firm's property management portfolio doubled and the landlord leasing portfolio grew more than 400 percent during her tenure as Market Director.

Belisle joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2000 from The Walt Disney Company where he served as the Director of Development and Program Management with responsibility for more than $230 million of international development. Most recently, Belisle served as the President of Jones Lang LaSalle's Energy and Sustainability Services overseeing more than 90 professionals in the U.S. Prior to that, he served as the President of Jones Lang LaSalle's Project and Development Services group overseeing more than 1,200 project managers responsible for assignments with an aggregate construction value of more than $20 billion.
Belisle received an M.B.A. in real estate and finance from The Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), as well as a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA. He is registered as an Engineer in Training, is a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), an active member of the real estate alumni group of UCLA Anderson Business School, CoreNet Global and ICSC.
Prior to her Market Director role, Pope served as Co-President of the firm's U.S. Tenant Representation Group and spent 10 years in Northern California, expanding the firm's footprint. Prior to her tenure at Jones Lang LaSalle, she held various senior management positions with IBM. In her last position with IBM, she was responsible for $1.6 billion in annual revenue in 10 western states.
Pope holds a master's degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (Sloan Program). She is a Chairman's Circle Member of the Los Angeles Business Council. She is also active in CoreNet and ULI, and is a member of SPIRE. Ms. Pope is a founding member of the Leading Women at the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, and an active contributor to Heal the Bay and Richstone Family Center, offering education and health services to children.
