JONCKERS demonstrates world class processes for translation
BRUSSELS, Sept. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As the world's foremost global communications company JONCKERS helps customers translate millions of words every year into every marketplace. With a global network of offices and a 24x7 follow-the-sun model of delivery, the commitment to consistent application of processes backed by the worlds leading technology platform for translation, is paramount. JONCKERS re-certification to the ISO standard for translation process this week demonstrates the commitment to quality JONCKERS has been known for over almost 25 years.
"JONCKERS has always been a byword for quality," said Geoffroy Janssens, JONCKERS Chief Operating Officer, "and this is because at the highest levels of our organization we demand consistent application of process backed by advanced technology."
JONCKERS had been EN15038-certified since 2008 and this year, the recertification was extended to ISO 17100. ISO 17100 specifies requirements for all aspects of the translation process directly affecting the quality and delivery of translation services. It measures both conformity of process along with the capability of those processes to deliver in a way that meets clients' needs.
Gabriele Sauberer, LICS auditor and Director of TermNet, the International Network for Terminology, commented, "I am impressed by JONCKERS' very detailed documentation, strong processes and their careful implementation by all the staff, as well as the very good communication between the different JONCKERS offices."
