Jonathan Schein Joins Institutional Real Estate, Inc.

SAN RAMON, Calif., April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Institutional Real Estate, Inc. (IREI), the San Ramon, California-based information company, announced today that Jonathan A. Schein has joined IREI as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Sales. Mr. Schein will be headquartered in the firm's New York City offices.

Prior to joining IREI, Mr. Schein served as General Manager of Penton's Commercial Media Group, which he joined in 2011. Prior to joining Penton, he was founder and CEO of Schein Media, and was President and CEO of Real Estate Media, where he founded GlobeSt.com and the Real Share Conferences.

In this role Mr. Schein will be responsible for leading IREI's business development efforts globally, while also serving as the Managing Director for the Americas business. Mr. Schein's direct reports will include Sheila Hopkins, Managing Director for the Company's European and Infrastructure product offerings, and Alex Eidlin, Managing Director for the Company's Asia Pacific offerings. Mr. Schein also will provide business development guidance, working closely with Sandy Terranova, Vice President, Marketing Director, and Michael Laffey, Manager, Conference Division.

Mr. Schein is a graduate of George Washington University, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
