Jon H. Friesen Promoted as President and Chief Operating Officer of NueHealth

LEAWOOD, Kan., July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, NueHealth Chairman and CEO Daniel R. Tasset announced the promotion of Jon H. Friesen as President and Chief Operating Officer of NueHealth, a privately-held, nationally trusted surgical healthcare partner. In his role as President and COO, Mr. Friesen will lead the company's growth and operational initiatives.

Mr. Friesen previously served as NueHealth's Chief Operating Officer since April 2017 and prior to that served as Chief Financial Officer since April 2011. During this time, Jon has expertly managed all aspects of the company's operations and financial planning and reporting. Mr. Friesen brings to his position more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience, having previously filled such progressive management positions as CFO, COO, and CEO of various managed healthcare organizations. Mr. Friesen was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in April 2017.

Early in his career, Mr. Friesen spent four years as the Chief Financial Officer for a national managed care organization with membership in excess of 350,000 and annual revenues of over $600 million. Mr. Friesen's additional experience includes serving as President and CEO of a $100 million dollar provider-sponsored healthcare organization, where he was responsible for long-range strategic planning and overall direction of the organization.

Mr. Friesen also spent eight years with Foundation HealthCare Affiliates, LLC (FHA). The first six years he served as the Chief Financial and Strategic Planning Officer and was eventually named company President of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Division.

Following his experience with the FHA, Mr. Friesen founded and served as Chief Executive Officer to Physicians Accountable Care of America, a National ACO Development and Management Company.
