STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Dec. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third year in a row, The Fidato Group announced its participation in the "Adopt-a-Family for Christmas " program and is teaming up with clients and friends to help collect gifts to provide a local family with an extraordinary holiday season. However, there will be more families seeking help for the holiday program than the organization has support, which means not all families who apply will be adopted, so in addition to inviting the community at large to participate in The Fidato Group's gift-and-supplies drive for one deserving family, the company's leaders are also urging stable individuals and families to take another step forward and adopt a family of their own.

GRANDFATHER RAISING FOUR GRANDKIDS
This year The Fidato Group has adopted a family where a grandfather is serving as head of household. He is raising his four grandchildren, aged 14, 10, 6 and 2. They're primarily in need of clothing items, toys and grocery cards. The Fidato Group invites the entire Northeast Ohio community to join in with them in donating gifts to be delivered to this and other deserving families.
MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE BY SERVING CLIENTS AND COMMUNITY
Tony D'Amico, CFP®, CEO and Lead Advisor at The Fidato Group said, "Our first mission is to make a positive difference in our client's lives by proactively serving their best interests, and helping them achieve their financial goals and aspirations. Additionally, we seek to make a positive difference in our community whenever there is an opportunity to do so. This year, we once again teamed up with The Adopt-A-Family Association of Parma and will be collecting items in an effort to provide a local family with a special holiday season. Adopt-a-Family Association provides an incredible opportunity to positively impact both our clients and our community. Inviting the community as a whole to participate along with our firm and our clients is a natural next step. We are also grateful for Lorain County Community College's involvement with this event again this year."
ADOPT-A-FAMILY NOT JUST FOR THE HOLIDAYS
The Adopt-a-Family Association was created to provide not only holiday support to low income, unemployed families and those who are disabled in Cuyahoga County, but also a short-term safety net and caring temporary assistance support to Greater Cleveland/Parma area families in crisis working to maintain a stable home environment for their children by moving them out of a homeless shelter environment. As in the past two years, The Fidato Group clients and friends have pledged to donate and deliver gifts to one deserving family this December.
"In 2015, with the partnership of local businesses, the Adopt-a-Family Association was able to help over 290 local families in Cuyahoga and surrounding counties along with families outside of the state of Ohio, including 700 children, by providing a meaningful holiday experience," said Madeline Medley, Executive Director/Founder of Adopt-a-Family Association. "Every year we have more families seeking help for the holiday program than we have support, which means not all families who apply will be adopted. We're happy to grow with The Fidato Group in their third year of sponsorship and look forward to working with them again this year, as we add more families to the program."
GETTING INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY IN A MEANINGFUL WAY
Amy D'Amico, Community Liaison at The Fidato Group, noted, "Participation in the Adopt-a-Family program allows us to give back to the community in a meaningful way. We're humbled that our client families want to be involved and enjoy seeing the personal gratification they've received in helping out families in need this holiday season." Please email [email protected] of your interest to help this family. She will then email to confirm what items are still needed for this family.
Wrapped gifts will be accepted through Friday, December 16th 2016 from 9am-5pm at two locations:
