Easter Seals Thrive, a community based mentorship program that empowers young women with disabilities to achieve their goals and independence, is hosting a live Twitter chat about the role of disabilities in mass media.
"Getting Real About Disability in Mass Media," is part of a monthly series aimed at sparking a dialogue about what it means to be a young woman living with a disability while navigating adulthood.

Thrive was created in Boston by a group of women to address a growing need for support of young women with disabilities as they transition into adulthood.
Monthly Twitter chats are possible through the national expansion of Thrive's digital community. Thrive's digital presence gives millions of women an opportunity to utilize the life experiences and advocacy from one another, no matter their location. Digital mentor interaction is coordinated through email, video-chat and phone.
