Johnsonville Sausage Launches "No Ordinary Burger" Contest Featuring $10,000 Grand Prize
Contest seeks entries showcasing unique recipes that go beyond ordinary
SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnsonville Sausage today announced the launch of its "No Ordinary Burger" contest, featuring a $10,000 grand prize. Through this contest, backyard chefs and at-home grillers are invited to showcase their creative twists on traditional burgers, for a chance to win big.

Now, through July 3, 2012, upload your recipe featuring any variety of Johnsonville Patties, including Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, Cheddar and Chorizo. Judges will narrow entries to a select group of up to five finalists, who will compete for the $10,000 grand prize during a live cook-off August 11 in New York City.
Entries will be judged on creative and appealing use of Johnsonville products, ease of preparation and taste. Bonus points are available for those who submit a photo along with their recipe.
In addition to the finalists selected by judges, one "Fan Favorite" finalist will be named via online consumer voting and will participate in the cook-off. All who enter are encouraged to urge family and friends to "get out the vote" for their recipes!
