John Wm. Macy's CheeseSticks Offers Innovative iPad Giveaway

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J., July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the launch of its new website at www.cheesesticks.com and encourage visitors to browse the site, John Wm. Macy's CheeseSticks announced the kick-off of its "Find John Macy and Win an iPad" contest. The Company will award five new iPad minis to winners randomly selected from eligible entries when the campaign ends on September 15, 2014.  

"Our designer and developer did a great job making our website more accessible, especially to mobile users," said Tim Macy, Vice President. "We've seen a big jump in activity since the new site launched last week, but we wanted a fun 'hook' that would promote it to a much wider audience."  

To encourage visitors to experience the look and feel of the responsively redesigned website, the Company has partially concealed the face of John Macy, its founder and president, on the main display image of six of the site's new pages. To simplify search and entry, the website's contest entry page at www.cheesesticks.com/contest displays links to John's twelve possible hiding places with a check box next to each link. Visitors need only check the six correct pages, enter their names and email addresses and click "submit" to enter.

The Company will promote the contest on the website and its social media properties, supplemented by email marketing and digital advertising. "We want a large audience. We're proud of the improvements we have made to the website," said Mr. Macy. "Because it takes advantage of current responsive design technology and automatically resizes for table users, we thought the iPad minis would be excellent prizes."
