John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary To Honor Sheri Rosenblum And Jason Jeralds At Annual Membership Luncheon
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary will honor Sheri Rosenblum with the Angel Award and Jason Jeralds with the Public Service Award at its Annual Membership Luncheon and Boutique, Oct. 19, 2016 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. Boutique vendors will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Institute. Event chairs are Auxiliary board members Marisol Zarco and Katie Lewis.
Angel Award honoree Sheri Rosenblum has been a dedicated member of the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary since 1986. She has held multiple leadership positions on the Auxiliary board and is one of its strongest supporters.
Public Service Award recipient Jason Jeralds has been a longtime friend and supporter of the John Wayne Cancer Institute. As the owner of Tustin Brewing Company in Orange County, Jeralds organizes the annual Tustin Brewery Golf Tournament, now in its 10th year, to raise funds and awareness for cancer research at the Institute.
Since 1981, the family of John Wayne has been committed to pioneering cancer research in memory of their father, who died of cancer. For more than 30 years, the courageous and dedicated researchers at the John Wayne Cancer Institute have made groundbreaking discoveries that have changed the way cancer is detected, diagnosed and treated around the world.
