John Ruffini Joins The Mergis Group as National Practice Director

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mergis Group, a leading specialty professional placement firm, announces the addition of John Ruffini as national practice director.

In this position, Ruffini will be responsible for day-to-day business operations and growth of the organization's permanent placement practice. He will have ownership of organizational training and professional development programs, while serving as a mentor to seasoned and rookie recruiters alike.  Ruffini will be based in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ruffini initially joined The Mergis Group in 2000 as managing director of our Annapolis, Maryland location. Most recently, he co-founded his own professional recruiting and career management firm, Proticon Career Services. Ruffini boasts a tenured career in the recruiting industry, spanning nearly two decades.

Ruffini attended The University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. Ruffini is a committee member of the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce and the Chesapeake Regional Technology Council. He is a board member of Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board, coaches the Talbot County Youth Basketball League and is a volunteer for the Easton Middle School Lacrosse Club.
