NEW YORK, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- John Quinn has joined Protiviti Inc. (www.protiviti.com), a global business consulting and internal audit firm, as a managing director and a leader of the investigations team within the firm's Litigation, Restructuring and Investigative Services (LRIS) practice.

Quinn joins Protiviti from a Big Four firm, where he served as a partner in the forensic practice in New York. Quinn also served as arbitrator in numerous disputes between buyers and sellers in stock purchase and sale transactions and was the lead partner for the provision of forensic services, including investigations, e-discovery, dispute advisory, corporate compliance and other services to several FORTUNE 100 global clients. Prior to joining the firm's forensic practice in 2001, Quinn spent more than 25 years in its assurance practices in the United States and Ireland, where he served as the lead partner for a variety of public, private, domestic and foreign-owned industrial and consumer products client companies.
Quinn holds a bachelor's degree in business studies from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. He is a CPA and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. His professional affiliations include the Institute of Chartered Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of CPAs and New York Society of CPAs.
