John Guasto named vice president, Aviall Defense for Aviall, a Boeing Company
DALLAS, Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- John Guasto has been named vice president, Aviall Defense, for Aviall, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company. Previously, Guasto served as director of Attack Helicopter Sustainment for Boeing Integrated Logistics.
In his new role, Guasto will provide leadership to Aviall Defense, which supports more than 50 military branches in 30 countries across the world, ensuring fleet operational readiness and peak aircraft performance. He brings more than 19 years of experience at Boeing to Aviall, where he served in various management and technical positions with increasing responsibility including, director of international rotorcraft, business development manager, product support manager, and multiple program management positions across Boeing's defense business.

Prior to joining Boeing, Guasto served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years as a KC-135 aircraft crew chief. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management and an executive MBA from Arizona State University.
