John D. Loveland Joins PricewaterhouseCoopers' U.S. Forensic Technology Solutions Practice as Managing Director
Loveland brings extensive e-discovery and computer forensics experience to PwC's global forensic technology solutions practice
WASHINGTON, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) announced today that John D. Loveland has joined the firm as a managing director in PwC's U.S. Forensic Technology Solutions practice and will focus on building and growing the practice nationally. He is based in the Washington D.C. office and will service a wide range of clients in matters of forensic investigations, privacy and enterprise document management.
Formerly a managing director with Navigant Consulting, Mr. Loveland brings to PwC years of experience in providing clients with strategic advice and expert witness services related to computer forensic investigations and complex e-discovery matters. He has led hundreds of investigations of theft of electronic data and computer fraud and abuse and has helped clients develop proactive, practical solutions for managing electronic business records.

Prior to joining Navigant, Mr. Loveland was founder and president of S3 Partners, a computer forensics firm based in Dallas. S3 Partners was acquired by Fios, Inc., a major U.S. provider of electronic discovery technology and services, in October 2003, at which time Mr. Loveland became vice president and chief client officer.
Mr. Loveland also held senior management positions with several consulting firms, including KPMG, Coopers & Lybrand, and Gemini Consulting. Previously a strategy consultant, Mr. Loveland has worked with clients in a range of industries including telecommunications, retail, healthcare, and oil & gas in the U.S., Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Mr. Loveland is a frequent speaker and lecturer on the topic of e-discovery and computer forensics across the globe. He most recently presented to the Washington, DC Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examinations on FCPA Investigations, Data Preservation & E-Discovery. He has an M.B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and a B.A. degree in finance from Texas A&M University.
