John Bolton PAC Makes $5,000 Contribution To Bill Cassidy In Runoff Election For The Louisiana Senate Seat
Ambassador John Bolton remains committed to championing Cassidy's path to Washington
WASHINGTON, Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The John Bolton PAC announces additional support of $5,000 to Rep. Bill Cassidy's campaign for the U.S. Senate seat from Louisiana. This contribution will go towards the runoff election for Cassidy, which is in addition to the $10,000 the Bolton PAC already contributed to the candidate for the primary and general election campaigns. Cassidy remains in a close and heated race, with the runoff election scheduled for December 6. An esteemed physician and strong leader, Cassidy is an ardent defender of American liberty in healthcare, fiscal responsibility and the necessity for unwavering American leadership overseas.
"Bill is an outspoken and principled individual who will continue to advocate on behalf of the people of Louisiana as a determined leader in the U.S. Senate," Ambassador Bolton said. "In his service as Congressman, Cassidy consistently demonstrated a hands-on role in addressing the desires of Louisianans for an accountable government reflective of hard working values and responsive decision making. I believe Cassidy's success in December will send a clear message that voters are ready to change the direction of our country with Cassidy as the Pelican State's new senator."
Over the past 10 months, The John Bolton PAC and SuperPAC raised over $7.5M and made PAC contributions totaling more than $470,000 to 87 GOP candidates across the country winning decisively in 75% of its supported races. An extensive $5 million digital ad campaign was implemented in 14 states included a robust effort in New Hampshire, North Carolina, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Iowa. "In Louisiana, as in many states throughout the country, I have devoted my PAC and SuperPAC's resources towards supporting candidates who believe in the exceptional and indispensable role that the United States must have in global affairs," Ambassador Bolton said. "In a time during which multiple regional conflicts have posed significant risks to our national interests, America needs decisive representation in Congress that is capable of steadfast and responsible governance. Working towards getting Cassidy elected brings us one step closer to this goal."
