WASHINGTON, May 22, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ambassador John Bolton endorses Martha McSally and her campaign will receive the first contribution from John Bolton PAC. Seeking to endorse and donate to candidates for office who believe in strong economic and national security, McSally is a candidate for Arizona's must-win 2nd Congressional District and will host a roundtable discussion with Ambassador Bolton on Thursday, May 22nd in Phoenix, Arizona.
"Martha McSally is a proven leader in international security. Not only is she the first female fighter pilot in U.S. history, she also is the first U.S. woman to command a combat aviation unit and has led military missions from Africa to the Middle East," said Ambassador John Bolton. "Arizona needs a committed conservative leader like Martha in Congress who believes protecting our freedoms at home means securing America's interests abroad."
With a combined total of over $3M raised through the PAC and Super PAC over the past eight months including contributions from supporters in all 50 states, Ambassador Bolton is targeting to support up to 35 pro-national security candidates running for the House and Senate this year.
"I am honored to have the support and endorsement of Ambassador Bolton, a great American who has advocated for our freedom against enemies worldwide," said Colonel (ret.) Martha McSally. "I am grateful for his trust in me to bring the necessary experience and leadership to Washington D.C. to start solving the complex problems that face our nation. I will continue to serve and protect with strong national defense, foreign policy and a robust economy."
These are John Bolton PAC's first contributions, therefore the donation is $2,600 for both the primary and general elections, and followed by another $4,800 once four other candidates receive contributions from the PAC, thus satisfying the Federal election law requirement.
