John Bardis Named to Jackson Healthcare Advisory Board
ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- John A. Bardis, founder of MedAssets, Inc. and a healthcare executive with more than 30 years experience, has been named to the board of advisors of Jackson Healthcare, one of the nation's largest healthcare staffing companies.
Bardis founded MedAssets, a healthcare performance improvement company, in 1999 and served as CEO until February of this year. He served as President of the company from its inception until December 2014. He is currently a member of the board of directors and serves as a consultant to the Alpharetta, Ga. based company.
Modern Healthcare named Bardis one of the "Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Healthcare" in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Becker's Healthcare awarded him its Annual Healthcare Leadership Award in 2013, naming him one of the top 30 leaders in healthcare.
