WASHINGTON, Sept 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Joe Thomas, former Cleveland Browns NFL player & 2006 Outland Trophy Winner, leads by example by getting vaccinated against influenza at the 2018 National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) Influenza/Pneumococcal News Conference. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone age 6 months and older get vaccinated against influenza each year. Thomas is NFID Flu Ambassador.
