Jody Madigan Named Chief Financial Officer of Maryland Live! Casino

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md., Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert J. Norton, President and General Manager of Maryland Live! Casino announced that Jody Madigan, CPA, has been named Chief Financial Officer of the new $500 million gaming and entertainment destination currently in development at Arundel Mills. Mr. Madigan is a senior level executive with more than ten years of experience in the casino gaming industry, specifically in financial management and business operations.

As Chief Financial Officer for Maryland Live! Casino, Mr. Madigan will be responsible for overseeing all of the financial aspects of the casino, including budgeting, revenue management, financial planning and analysis, accounting, and compliance with state and other external regulators. In addition to his financial duties, Mr. Madigan will be heavily involved in all aspects of the property's day-to-day operations.

Mr. Madigan began his casino gaming career with Park Place Entertainment as a Financial Analyst. He went on to serve as a Senior Financial Analyst at Boomtown Casino Biloxi. During his eight years with Boomtown, Mr. Madigan held a number of key positions in the finance department, rapidly ascending his way to the top finance position in the casino. From Boomtown, Mr. Madigan went on to work for Sol Casinos in Tucson, AZ, as Chief Financial Officer, where he was responsible for the integrity of financial information and systems, as well as training staff, upgrading financial and administrative infrastructures and creating executive management strategies.

While working at Boomtown, Mr. Madigan became a Certified Public Accountant in 2002 and is recognized by both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Originally from Galena, Illinois, Mr. Madigan grew up in Long Beach, Mississippi. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and then his Master of Science in Management.

Mr. Madigan currently lives in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
