PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Buildup, the jobsite collaboration and communication platform for construction, announced today the availability of their integration with Procore, a leading provider of cloud-based applications for construction.
The integration has been long awaited by customers of Buildup and Procore. "We are very excited that these high quality vendors of ours are working together," said Rolando Jaime of Millcreek Residential Trust. "We use both of them and now we have seamless access to our construction project management and our issue management, where we are able to collaborate and communicate effectively."
"Getting the subcontractors on board in using a jobsite collaboration tool has always been an industry challenge. With Buildup, we are finally breaking new ground. We are seeing subs not just use, but embrace Buildup. This has resulted in enormous gains-- as much as 44% faster closeout time compared to projects where subs are not actively using such a tool," said Stephen Haskin, Director of Operations at Buildup.
"We are excited for this latest integration with Buildup, and welcome their addition into the Procore App Marketplace," said Doug Gibson, Business Development Manager of Procore.
The construction market is valued at over $10 trillion dollars per year. However, nine out of ten construction projects are over-budgeted or delayed.
