ATLANTA, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Stonebranch, innovator of Independent Job Scheduling Agent technology and provider of Managed File Transfer solutions, today announced that JN Data, Denmark's leading IT outsourcer for the banking industry, has expanded its Indesca deployment to accommodate the increased number of managed datacenters due to bank mergers. JN Data's satisfaction with Stonebranch and the Indesca product, including its ability to automate and integrate their cross-platform disparate job scheduling environment, was the reason for this decision.

Jyske Bank, the third largest bank in Denmark, and Nykredit, the largest mortgage company in Denmark, founded JN Data in 2002 to handle all IT operations and technical infrastructure for both companies. Recently, JN Data added Nordisk Finans IT (BEC and SDC) as its customer. As a result, JN Data wanted to expand the use of Stonebranch and Indesca to consolidate this complex Workload Automation environment to provide them with centralized management and control of their systems.
"JN Data consistently demonstrates success in aligning their IT outsourcing operations with their customers' business objectives," said John Mecke, Chief Operating Officer of Stonebranch. "We're pleased that JN Data has once again chosen Stonebranch as their partner to complete their Workload Automation strategy."
When the merging of these banks' IT operations is complete, JN Data projects that, at that time, they will be managing 24,000+ mainframe mips, 7,200+ AIX and Intel servers, over 35,000 PCs and 1300 storage servers. Indesca's vendor agnostic solution enables JN Data to deploy Independent Scheduling Agents on every server no matter what the platform or operating system.
"Indesca allows us to add functionality to the job scheduling environments of our clients without the need to replace or convert the native job scheduling product," said Kim Kvist Hansen, Head of Production Planning for JN Data. "Each customer can maintain their original scheduling environment and we will then use Indesca to manage and control these disparate environments. This enables us to extend the initial investment in our scheduling infrastructure and avoid retraining personnel and acquiring additional costly technology. Indesca allows us to keep IT operations stable, secure and running efficiently as we continue to grow our business."
