Jive Expands Executive Leadership Team
Christopher Lochhead Appointed to Board of Directors. Brian Roddy Named Senior Vice President of Engineering.
PALO ALTO, Calif., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Jive Software announced two executive appointments. Christopher Lochhead joined Jive's Board of Directors and will also serve as the company's Chief Strategy Advisor. Brian Roddy was named Senior Vice President of Engineering.

Previously, Lochhead had been serving as a strategic advisor to Jive. In his role as Chief Strategy Advisor, he will be actively involved in Jive's business, products, and go to market strategy.
Roddy joins Jive from Cisco. He will lead Jive's engineering team to further develop Jive's leading Social Business Software (SBS) platform. Jive now counts more than 15 million users.
Christopher Lochhead Background
Lochhead is a strategy advisor and a former three-time Chief Marketing Officer. After twenty years in business, he retired as an operating executive in 2007. Previously, Lochhead served as the CMO of Mercury Interactive, the leader in Business Technology Optimization (BTO) software. In 2006 HP purchased Mercury for $5.1 billion. Prior to Mercury, Lochhead was Chief Executive Officer of LOCHHEAD Corporation, a boutique strategy-consulting firm. He was also CMO of Scient, an Internet consulting firm, as well as Executive Vice President at Vantive, a customer relationship management software company that was acquired by PeopleSoft in 1999.
Brian Roddy Background
Roddy has more than 15 years experience leading engineering teams and building market leading products. Most recently, at Cisco he oversaw a team of over 200 engineers, building mission-critical, high-performance networking products. Roddy joined Cisco through the acquisition of Reactivity, a leading XML gateway provider, which he co-founded in 1997. Prior to Reactivity, he was a senior scientist at Apple.
