Jim Beam and StrawberryFrog win Gold CLIO and Silver ADC Cube
NEW YORK, May 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Beam and New York City Advertising Agency StrawberryFrog were awarded the prestigious Gold CLIO for the TV commercial "Bold Choice" featuring Willem Defoe at the 2012 CLIO Awards.
The 2012 CLIO Awards, one of the world's most recognized awards competitions honoring excellence in advertising, design and communications, were announced this week by Prometheus Global Media. The international competition received over 11,000 submissions from countries as far-reaching as Vietnam, Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
Winners will be celebrated at the CLIO Awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 15th at New York City's American Museum of Natural History.
The 53rd Annual CLIO Awards will be hosted by comedy icon Joan Rivers. Annie Leibovitz and Anthony Bourdain will be presented with Honorary CLIOs at this year's ceremony, while Piyush Pandey, Ogilvy & Mather India Executive Chairman, will receive the 2012 CLIO Lifetime Achievement Award.

In addition to the Gold CLIO, Jim Beam and StrawberryFrog also won last week a Silver Cube for the ADC Art Director's Club. This follows two D&AD Pencils last month and two Andy Awards, as well as 7 AICP Awards, and is among the most awarded creative campaign this year. TIME Magazine called it the Top Ads of the year.
