Jillian M. Warner is recognized by Continental Who's Who
GRAND ISLAND, N.Y., Oct. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jillian M. Warner is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Higher Education as a result of her role as Adjunct Faculty at Canisius College and Doctoral Student at the University of Buffalo.
Founded in 1870 by German Jesuits, Canisius College is a private university in Western New York. As one of twenty eight Jesuit, Catholic colleges in the nation, the college offers a diverse selection of undergraduate, graduate and professional programs for students from across the world.
In the field for ten years, Jillian has been in this position for the past year where she is responsible for providing alcohol and substance abuse counseling as well as training and teaching new counselors.
To keep up with the latest in the industry, Jillian remains a member of the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, National Association for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselors, Dialectal Behavior Therapy Association, Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society and Psi Chi National Honor Society.
Charitably, Jillian is involved with several foundations and organizations. She maintains affiliation with the Stand Up to Cancer Foundation, Adopt a US Soldier, Wounded Warrior Project, Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Outside of work, she enjoys art, reading and travel.
A graduate of Buffalo State College, Jillian received her Master's degree in Criminal Justice following her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a Forensic Psychology minor from Canisius College.
