J.F. Kiely Construction Co. Helps 'Sandy' Family Return Home
After nearly five years of being displaced, the local construction company steps in to bring a single father and his son back home.
LONG BRANCH, N.J., Aug. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In August 2016, J.F. Kiely Construction Co. partnered with the St. Bernard Project (SBP), a non-profit organization, to identify a family that was still displaced from Superstorm Sandy after nearly five years, and promised to get them back to their home.
J.F. Kiely Construction Co., the lead financial sponsor for the family in need, gave their team members the unique opportunity to volunteer personal time to help support the rebuild of the home. Living true to the values of the Kiely Family of Companies, Kiely team members collectively volunteered 260 hours of their personal time to the project, working together to deliver outstanding results.
After many long years of being displaced, the Long Branch house has been completely rebuilt, and the homeowner and his son moved back into their new home on June 28, 2017 with the help of J.F. Kiely Construction Co.
"Making real change possible in the quality of people's lives is a core responsibility of the Kiely Family of Companies," said John M. Kiely, President of the Kiely Family of Companies. "This project not only reinforces the importance of the Kiely Family of Companies' commitment to reinvesting in the communities we serve, but was also inspiring working alongside all of our Team Kiely volunteers," Kiely continued.
The Kiely Family of Companies looks forward to what they can accomplish for their community in the future.
