Jewish Community's DC Mayoral Debate for Tomorrow Tops 900 Registered
WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Over 900 individuals have registered to attend the Jewish community's D.C. Mayoral debate between incumbent Mayor Adrian Fenty and DC Council Chairman Vincent Gray and moderated by ABC-7/WJLA-TV report Scott Thuman.
The candidates will share their vision for the District, discuss issues affecting the Jewish community, and answer audience questions, with preference given to media representatives. Among the topics to be addressed are questions on affordable housing, immigration, economic development, and civil and voting rights.
This program is co-hosted by the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington and the Sixth and I Historic Synagogue with support from more than a dozen synagogues and Jewish agencies in the District of Columbia.
