Luxurious spa getaway, jewelry and feature in Marie Claire magazine are up for grabs
NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Jewelry Information Center (JIC), the consumer education arm of Jewelers of America (JA), just launched a nationwide contest celebrating life's sparkling moments. JIC's Sparkling Snapshots Contest asks individuals to share the connection between a piece of their jewelry and a snapshot of a special moment. The Contest launched on September 12, 2011, at 12 p.m. EDT at http://contest.JIC.org.
"Life's most precious moments are often celebrated with a piece of jewelry. Whether it is a wedding band from your wedding day, a necklace when your child was born, a bracelet purchased on a vacation, or a pair of earrings after a job promotion, JIC's Sparkling Snapshots Contest honors those moments," says JIC spokesperson Amanda Gizzi.
JIC's Sparkling Snapshots Contest will run September 12 through December 12. The entry period will run until October 31 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. There will be a voting period from October 31 at 12:01 p.m. EDT through November 28 at 12:00 p.m. EST, at which time the public will vote to select the Top 25 Finalists. The 25 entrants with the most votes will move on to the judging period beginning November 28 at 12:01 p.m. EST. The Winner will be announced on December 12 at http://contest.JIC.org.
