JetBlue Expands in San Francisco Today
- Now offering 11 daily flights from SFO -
- More flights to Boston, Los Angeles, Long Beach, and New York -
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) today kicks off an expansion of service at San Francisco International Airport by adding new flights to Boston, Long Beach, and New York. Together with its recently added nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, and its daily service to Austin, Texas, JetBlue now offers travelers 11 convenient daily departures from SFO.

JetBlue has added two daily nonstop flights from SFO to its West Coast focus city at L.A.'s Long Beach Airport (for a total of five daily flights); a second daily nonstop flight to its focus city at Boston's Logan International Airport; and a second daily nonstop flight to the airline's acclaimed home at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 5.

In other Bay Area route changes, JetBlue today begins a fourth daily nonstop flight between Oakland and Long Beach, giving travelers more choice between L.A. and both the East Bay and the Peninsula. The airline also plans to begin a new route connecting San Jose with Boston -- the only nonstop service between Silicon Valley and New England -- effective May 13, 2010.

Across the Bay, JetBlue today adds a fourth daily flight from Oakland to Long Beach. Also, beginning May, a daily San Jose to Boston will be added, to continue strengthening our Bay Area coverage.
